Made by Ebony Camera, a Japanese manufacturer known for its precision-built wooden and titanium large format cameras, the SW23 is prized for its lightweight yet rigid construction, using ebony wood and titanium for durability and stability.
When shooting 4x5 format, you will need a lens with an image circle of at least 163mm to cover 4x5, which most standard large format lenses exceed. However, on the SW23, longer lenses will be bellows-limited and unusable.
