We buy and sell second hand equipment ranging from classic mechanical cameras to modern DSLR and would be pleased to either buy your equipment from you or even take your items in part exchange for your next equipment upgrade.

There is no VAT charged on second hand equipment. All second hand equipment comes with a 6 month guarantee unless otherwise stated. All Leica M lenses and film cameras come with a 12 month guarantee.
Items under £100 in value come with a 1 month guarantee.
We use Royal Mail Special Delivery on all deliveries within the UK, prices begin from £10 depending on the size and weight of the package.

Selling Photographic Equipment To Aperture
Aperture will be pleased to buy your quality cameras and lenses from you or take them in part exchange for equipment being purchased from us. We can provide a rough estimate by email or over the phone but it is best to bring in the equipment for inspection and evaluation. Payments for all purchases are made via BACS direct bank transfer and the funds should reach your account in 5-7 working days.
No appointments need to be made for item evaluation, please bring them to our store and we can give you an on the spot offer after inspection.
A Guide To Our Grading Descriptions
Our condition ratings are used as a guide, we endeavour to give the most complete and accurate description of each item, however we aren't always perfect.
Cameras and Lenses come only with front, rear or body caps. They do not come with hoods, boxes, manuals, etc. unless otherwise stated.
All of the equipment we sell has been inspected and is in full working order and comes with 6 months guarantee (12 months guarantee for Leica mechanical bodies and lenses).
As New Condition - Virtually unused. The item will be unmarked and in the same condition as purchasing a brand new item.
Mint Condition - No visible marks. The item will have been lightly used but extremely well looked after.
Nr. Mint condition - Item may show a very faint rub mark on body or barrel but otherwise would be described as Mint.
Mint- condition - Item may show a very fine mark on body or barrel.
Exc+++ condition - Item may show slight signs of wear and very fine marks on body or barrel.
Exc++ condition - Would overall be in very clean condition however there might be some small cosmetic marks and in some places (usually on the edges) it might have just gone through the paint.

Most of our used equipment is from keen amateurs and is in full working order and comes with a six months guarantee (12 months for Leica M & R series), unless otherwise stated.
Lenses will very rarely have any heavy marks on the elements or fungus; if they do we try our best to point out all the cosmetic marks and imperfections.
