At Aperture, we are specialists in second-hand camera equipment, dealing in a range of quality brands including: Leica, Nikon, Canon and other professional or collectible cameras. We also have in-house film processing and camera repair services.
We are very enthusiastic about film cameras. Since 2000, our store has served professional photographers, amateurs and collectors alike.
Digital cameras have made taking pictures more convenient, efficient and accessible than ever before. But for those who wish to embrace the traditional way of photography, manual cameras allow you to take pictures in a more disciplined manner. This can be appealing to those who value mechanical precision and feel. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing a beautifully developed photo from a negative.
We offer our in-house repair service for film cameras and lenses, specialising in repairs of all mechanical cameras, in particular the classic marques that we carry, Leica, Hasselblad, Rollei and Nikon. We can also repair faults with modern camera systems, auto focus lenses and compact cameras depending on availability of parts.
At Aperture we aim to be part of your photography experience, from your equipment through to your photos. Our film processing services are set up to keep things as simple and straight forward as possible. We process C41 colour negative and traditional black and white chemistry film in 35mm or 120 medium format for prints. We can also scan your negatives and provide digital files.
